I have been a stay at home dad for 8+ years. I have 5 years+ of experience in the child care industry and I exceed the state requirements and qualifications. 

I participate in ongoing training in the areas of child growth and development, healthy and safe environments, developmentally appropriate practices, guidance, family relationships, cultural and individual diversity, and professionalism. I am CPR/First Aid certified and I have my Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) certification as well. 

I look to engage children with knowledge and fun while encouraging their interests. Through our 1000+ children's books library, puppets, STEM toys, and a wide variety of age appropriate toys I look to make learning fun and entertaining. I'll be silly all day if it means the children are enriched by it. I have been a children's entertainer for more than 20 years in my other business Amazingpete.com.

I have 8+ years of experience as a mom to a wonderful son and daughter and 5+ years participating in childcare professionally. I work closely with Peter on all aspects of the daycare but primarily assist with behind the scenes tasks. I work full time for Cornell but step in as a second pair of hands at the end of the day and substitute for Peter if he needs to take a day off. 

I love reading and singing and some of my favorite things to do with the kids are reading out loud and making up silly songs together. 

Like Peter, I also complete annual training hours in the areas of child growth and development, healthy and safe environments, developmentally appropriate practices, guidance, family relationships, cultural and individual diversity, and professionalism.
